The School of Education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff has had continuous accreditation from the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) since 1954. We offer just the type of preparation teachers need to enhance their knowledge and skills for improved classroom instruction in preschool through grade twelve settings. The School of Education Graduate programs also offers a program of study for those with bachelor's degrees in non-teaching areas who want to prepare for teacher licensure and earn a master's degree. With a master's degree from our program, you will be prepared for leadership in your profession and community and for the promotion of academic excellence in teaching, research, technology and public service.
The School of Education Graduate programs offers the following master's degrees:
• Master of Education in Early Childhood Education
• Master of Arts in Teaching
• Master of Education in Secondary Education
